2022.06.25Yuji Yazawa is in dialogue with Director Tanaka of the Okinawa General Bureau, Cabinet Office, in Okinawa’s “Kasumigaseki.”
We had the opportunity to meet with Director Tanaka of the Okinawa General Bureau, Cabinet Office, to introduce the upcoming Well-being Conference. Okinawa has 42 cities and towns, including the prefecture, and promoting well-being is a crucial aspect of Okinawa’s future development, so we engaged in a productive exchange of ideas.
The Okinawa General Bureau is like Okinawa’s own "Kasumigaseki," a comprehensive administrative hub with offices from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and more, all housed in a 10-story building. Director Tanaka, as the head, embodies a well-being spirit. I am looking forward to what lies ahead!
