Upon Hearing the News of Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's Passing
I extend my heartfelt condolences upon hearing of the passing of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. It is still hard to believe and deeply regrettable that a leader who guided us Japanese people with a strong commitment to creating a happier nation lost his life in this way. I know many feel profound sorrow and a sense of loss.
Nevertheless, it is precisely now that we must resolutely move forward with renewed determination. We are committed to building a society where every individual in Japan can live a better life. I am resolved to carry on former Prime Minister Abe’s vision, which was left unfinished, and continue advancing toward this goal.
With profound respect and gratitude for his achievements in life, I humbly pray for his eternal peace.
